EDL Packaging, a Massman Company, Celebrates Groundbreaking of New Facility
De Pere, WI. (May 29, 2024) EDL Packaging, a leader in automated shrink wrapping and shrink bundling machinery, is excited to announce the groundbreaking for a brand new 45,000 Sq. foot facility in De Pere, WI. Full press release can be read here: EDL Press Release
EDL’s history in Wisconsin dates back to 1985, when we first opened a service center in Green Bay to support our UK-based operations. Since then, the Wisconsin facility has evolved into our primary location, where we design and manufacture industry-leading automated packaging equipment. The Greater Green Bay area has always been a hub for the packaging industry, and we’re proud to continue our legacy here, thanks to the support of the City of DePere.
During the event Jeffrey Hohn, President and CEO of Massman Companies, the parent company of EDL, expressed his excitement about this new facility. “We have seen significant growth across each of our Massman Business locations. The groundbreaking for EDL follows the completion of a newly designed headquarters for the Massman Companies in Alexandria, MN. This venture is the latest in a series of investments that Massman has made in each one of their locations. We are excited for the employee wellbeing and growth potential this new building will enable.”
Kathryn Rowen, General Manager and Vice President of EDL, echoed this sentiment. “This new facility is an investment in the Greater Green Bay Area and our people. This space is designed with employee wellness at the forefront and will be a perfect way to showcase our capabilities to customers. We aim to demonstrate the custom-automation machines we have been designing, building, and assembling since coming to the area over 40 years ago.”
