Massman Automation Designs, LLC (Massman), of Villard, Minnesota, is excited to announce the appointment of Greg Gorski as Vice President and General Manager of EDL Massman in Green Bay, WI.  EDL Massman was formed on October 31, 2016 through the Company’s acquisition of EDL Packaging Engineers, Inc. (EDL) and a comprehensive executive search was initiated to succeed EDL’s Founder and President, Ken Carter, to enable his planned retirement.

Greg and Ken will work closely with Jeff Bigger, Massman’s President and CEO, to ensure a smooth leadership transition.  When the acquisition of EDL was announced, Jeff expressed appreciation for Ken’s leadership and commented that the EDL team earned a strong reputation as a premier brand in the packaging industry by providing high quality, innovative, tailored packaging solutions.   With the announcement of Greg’s addition to the team, Jeff said:  “We appreciate the leadership Ken has provided in building EDL to this point.  We are excited about the future of the business as part of Massman under Greg’s leadership during this next stage in which we will continue to expand the business in Green Bay.”   With complementary product lines, the combined companies are well positioned for continued growth by providing broader and more complete solutions to our customers.

Greg joins EDL Massman from Tosca, a provider of customized reusable packaging, where he served as VP/GM for two Divisions, led its corporate engineering, food safety and operational leadership for multiple plants.  Prior to that, he served as VP of Operations for Sanimax, a global Agri-food company, and was responsible for its diverse manufacturing sites throughout North America.  Greg began his career at Kimberly-Clark where he held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, manufacturing, and research and development during two decades with the Company.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.

A Wisconsin native, Greg and his wife Joanne live in Hortonville.  They have three children.  Greg is an active member of a range of community and industry organizations and has served in various volunteer leadership roles.
